Cultural intelligence (CQ) is the capability to relate and work effectively in culturally diverse situations.
I had to begin with understanding how my own culture influenced my values, the way I communicated, and how people from other cultural contexts might perceive me. Then I had to work at being myself, while understanding the cultural context of those I worked with in order to make the adaptations necessary to effectively build trust and work towards our mission.
It required courage to engage in the differences but it also allowed me to hear my staff's stories. The relationships I formed, and hearing their stories, allowed me to understand and experience a much more full and rich picture of who God is.
This journey has been worth it for me, which is why I am passionate about helping others who carry this vision to walk it out effectively with courage and confidence.

- I have 20 years of ministry leadership experience leading, developing and supervising diverse staff teams with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.
- I am a Certified Growth Coach through both Life Forming Leadership and the Christian Coaching School.
- I am certified by the Cultural Intelligence Center to train and assess you and your team in order to grow your cultural intelligence leadership.
- I am a certified trainer in the Enneagram by Dr Jerome Wagner of The Enneagram Spectrum and often use this as a framework for all the work I do to facilitate deep and lasting transformation.

- You will take the appropriate Cultural Intelligence assessments. Together, we will decide which assessments will be most helpful for your leadership situation.
- The assessments, created by the Cultural Intelligence Center are:
- Cultural Values Profile: Assess your individual cultural preferences on 11 different pairs of preferences.
- CQ Self-Assessment: Assess your Drive, Knowledge, Strategy, and Action when it comes to effectively leading cross-culturally.
- CQ Multi-Rater Assessment: Includes assessments by co-workers or your team to give you a more accurate assessment.
- Together, we will create goals based on these assessments and your desired outcomes.
- Receive personalized one-on-one coaching to help you reach these goals. We will meet regularly to check on your progress, process what you are learning, problem solve together, look for new insights, and come up with action steps for the coming week.
- Experience how coaching will grow your confidence, courage, and effectiveness as a cross-cultural leader.

This package is for those who are ready to transform their leadership and build a solid foundation for their cultural intelligence (CQ).

- 2 hour debriefing and consultation of your CQ assessment.
- 5 one-hour personal coaching appointments meeting over 10-12 weeks.
- Based on the results of your self-assessment we will focus on areas of growth
- Create strategic goals and plans given your insights.
- Learn what your cultural values are and how they interact with the cultural values of those you work with.
- Understand where conflict is stemming from and find solutions to work through them.
- Understand your personal barriers and how to work past them.
- Learn how to effectively work with those with different cultural values than you.
